I read this book after rereading the first in the series, PS I Love You and actually enjoyed this sequel far more than the first book.
I found the first to be a little unrealistic in the expectation for Holly to move on so quickly after he husband passed away. It seemed like her friends (in particular) we’re pushing to immediately jump into a new relationship so soon. This book however, set seven years after his death still shows her grief can still affect her life and helps show she can move through this rather than past it. Holly makes grief a focus in her life without letting it control her.

I love Holly’s family and the different relationships she has with them, although did miss the connection she had with her previously misunderstood older brother that developed so beautifully in the first book.

Overall I found this an incredibly enjoyable but moving read - prepare for some tears!
