I adored P.S. I Love You and am excited about the idea of a sequel to this book. The First Impression is well written and made me want to know more about what Holly’s life looks like now and how she is moving on and dealing with grief later on down the line.

Celia Ahern’s writing style is gripping and easy to read, with likeable characters that you want to root for but also relatable and human with flaws. Holly and Gerry were the perfect tragic love story that evoked emotions and made you as a reader think and I hope this sequel can do the same thing, set years after Gerry’s death and letters, it seems Holly is trying to move on but based on the sneak peak it doesn’t seem as though she’s completely ready at the start of the book despite trying to convince herself she is.
