I really enjoyed reading more about Holly and getting to see how she has grown in the years since Gerry's death. There is quite a lot going on, maybe a bit too much at times but it does really get you thinking about the grief process and what might drive people to want to leave something behind for their loved ones. It's a long time since I read p.s. I love you so I wish I had the read that first as this isn't really a stand alone story. Ginika's story is absolutely heartbreaking. I always get a bit annoyed in books when couples who have had no success with IVF get a 'miracle', sadly this is not usually the case so it made that part of the story a bit unrealistic for me. Saying that I think there is room for a 3rd book to find out how Holly gets on but also how baby Jewel gets on with her new family. Overall, a good read but very sad so essential to have the tissues handy.
