Returning to familiar and much loved characters is one my my favourite things and I absolutely adored this book and returning to Holly’s journey. The story had depth and progressed really well throughout the novel.
The character development in this was incredible. I laughed and I cried, utterly moved by the story and each of the new characters Holly connected with and helped and hearing their stories and them reaching out for help was humbling to read.
I loved the flashbacks and seeing more of Gerry again, as I wasn’t sure how that would come through, but it was brilliantly done. The thread of their relationship has again pervaded even death and seeing how Holly moves through her grief is incredibly relatable.
Cecelia Ahern is amazing and I loved every second of it. She did it again, just sensational books every time. She’s an auto buy author for me.
