I thoroughly enjoyed this book, reading it whenever I got the chance. The characters were all relatable and likeable. I had not read the first book but I did not feel this stopped me enjoying Postscript at all as all relationships and events were referenced in a clear way and worked as a standalone novel.
Holly Kennedy had taken part in a podcast about how her late husband had left her a number of letters to be found after his death. The podcast inspires a group with terminal illnesses to do something similar and want Holly to help them in their endeavour. Holly has moved on with her life in the years since her late husbands death but will this take her back to the unbearable grief she had endured. I cried so much reading the story of the Ps I love you club members as it was dealt with in such a compassionate and moving way. It was not morbid at all and I found the book ultimately uplifting and made me really think about the legacy you can leave loved ones when you die. I would really recommend this book.
