I really loved this book, I don't think I've read a single book of Cecelia Ahern's that I haven't loved and hasn't made me cry at least once. Her writing is so beautiful and it really does tug on your heart strings! I loved the fact that after seeing the film I was able to visualise the characters and for me this really bought the book to life. I could easily imagine that I was watching everything on the big screen in front of me.

I would say here though that I wish I'd read the book P.S. I Love You first rather than just going off the film as there are a few subtle differences (as there always are with book to film adaptations) but this didn't get in the way of me enjoying the book.

What I really loved about this was that although death is a major part of this book it doesn't feel all doom and gloom, there are plenty of moments of happiness and laughter. I really enjoyed the memories that Holly shared about her and Gerry and felt that these moments shone a bit of light amongst the darkness. I also loved the relationships between Holly, Denise and Sharon, the budding friendship was still evident and you really feel that these three are friends for life.
