honestly speaking, I didn't think I would like this book very much. Having read the first book ps I love you and watching the film ( books way better) I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed, the thing that got me most was that I just couldn’t see what was coming next in so many parts. Some happy and some sad tears. It was an emotional rollercoaster. Holly, still suffering from the loss of her first husband who sent her letters from beyond the grave is trying to move on with her life. Gerry seems to be ever present in her life though and her boyfriend struggles with this. Her sister encourages Holly to take part in her podcast and tell the story of how Gerry managed to keep their love alive even from the other side. The story itself is really immersive, and despite having read its predecessor in a while I was immediately drawn back into Holly's life and it's wonderfully written as though you know the characters personally and relate to them and strive for their own happiness. It was a fantastic book and a great sequel but had me in floods of happy and sad tears.
