I adore PS I love you, and this was the perfect follow up. After the first book I had so many hopes for Holly, I was so attached to her and I wanted everything to go so perfectly for her, and 7 years later, this is a perfect catch up. It reminds me of catching up with a good friend, and the way that this book is written leaves you even more attached.

I liked how there Holly wasn't with the guy she dated at the end of PS I love you - that would have been cliché, and boring. It was refreshing to see that it wasn't a happily ever after, which I feel makes it more relatable.

I also liked how there wasn't just the continuation of Holly's story, but there was some great side plots. I was so invested in Ginika's storyline with her baby (Jewell). I also liked how there was a focus back on old characters, such as Holly's friend. It made it feel like we were a part of Holly's world.

After reading this, I found myself reflecting so much on how life goes on, and after death, there is so many people we leave behind who go on a journey to get back into the idea of living.

I love this book, and it was a perfect sequel to the first book.
