Half the world fell in love with PS I Love You so it was lovely to step back into the world of Holly Kennedy, to find out what happened next.
Firstly though a mention of the cover of this book - the rich dark blue and gold is utterly GORGEOUS!
The story inside is pretty special too. I confess that I found the first half quite slow but the book needs that slow burn to help you understand the characters and their emotions.
Holly is "coerced" into helping out with the PS I Love You Club - a group of terminally ill people who have been inspired by the story of Gerry's letters and want to create something similar for their loved ones.
It goes without saying that, when a lot of the characters are terminally ill, there isn't the traditional happy ending for everyone. The range of emotions and stories quite takes your breath away though and the last few chapters are really moving. Keep your tissues handy!
