The blurb of this book does not appeal to me and neither did the opening pages. Simply it is not the genre that I would normally read and it does not grab me.
That said I can see why this would appeal to others, in the the opening scenes we can tell that this is going to be an action packed, edge of your seat read. The author manages to balance this action with well written descriptions of the surroundings and in quite a skilled way.
Over all I imagine this will be a popular read, just not for me.
