I did like the feel the book gave to me in the First Impression. The book was written for a late teen and I am an adult it shouldn't preclude me from reading it. I have read most of Angie Sage's books, all of J K Rowling.

The plot line, although at this point in time is a bit far-fetched I did enjoy the story and could not put it down. By being a late teens book meant I could read it easily in a couple of days.

It certainly pulled together what happens all the time in Africa and other third world countries, where an Individual does everything in the power to remain in power, even against children. As I turned each page I was willing the children to finally get the better of the situation they found themselves in.

The book has certainly set the scene for future instalments, the next of which will come out next year and I will probably look to read the follow-on in anticipation.
