As an avid travellers to South Africa I was excited to read this book and although there was of course elements of pure fiction overall I really enjoyed the setting and the story. It kept me on the edge of my seat and it very jumpy in places, definitely not one to read before bed or when home alone.
This is far more than a typical crocodile hunts and kills story and as the plot unfolds it takes twists and turns which kept me engaged and wanting to see what happened next.
Crocodile Lodge was an idyllic setting and you can't help but compare the traditional style lodge business with their neighbour who has taken a completely different approach to the local wildlife!
Overall I really liked this and would recommend it, is it a part thriller, part horror and part mystery style book so should appeal to lots of different types of readers with different preferences.
