Easy read thriller with not too much thought required to follow the plot. A certain amount of predictability to it. Perhaps I was not the intended audience, might be one aimed more at the teenage boy readership. Not necessarily a criticism, it does this well, and well enough that I would probably pick up a sequel/ prequel if I came across it. Variety is the spice of life in reading after all.
Language pretty simple, story implausible at times (at least from my narrow view on life), fast paced and enough excitement to carry it to the end.
Front cover illustrates an episode from the plot without spoiling it, certainly gives the right impression which might attract the right readers. All in all, not worth going out of your way to find, but if you do have an idle moment and this small tome to hand, I'd say give it a go. Not quite Michael Crichton wannabe
