This novel was really well told snd grabbed my attention straight away. Although the target audience got this book is adult teens, I think this could easily be enjoyed be adults too.
The introduction to Robyn and Ralph made them easily likeable and knowing a bit of their back story really helped to set the scene of how they reacted with the other characters.
There is enough suspense and mystery with the prologue and the mystery creature chasing the lion to make people read on and there is already a villain in the form of the neighbour Gerard who wants to hunt animals.
The writing style of this book is good for a younger audience snd is to follow the fast paced gripping novel.
I would definitely buy this book for my pre-teen with the hope that I could sneakily read it after!
