I was lucky enough to win this book from Readersfirst (thank you!) read this book and then passed on to my teenage daughter. It was full of action, excitement, dread, awe and death snapping at your heels.
Wilbur Smith is on a league of his own and a teenage novel (i didn’t know of this book until shown on Readersfirst) having read a lot of his adult series, this book didn’t disappoint.
I loved the storyline, the audience it is aimed at. The story is quite descriptive of attack and blood action in some places however this describes what would really happen if happened for real.
I also like the cover which exactly covers the story.
I would highly recommend this book, i found it so engrossing it took me just one day to read it. The printed words are a nice sized font too. An easy descriptive read for those who wallow in fear although not gorey (i don’t do gory) for any adventure getter.
