This book really reminded me of the Willard Price books that I used to love reading as a child, so this was a good thing from my perspective.
Having a pair of siblings as the lead characters gave you in effect two strands of the same story to follow, which was nice and gave added interest to the plotline.
I feel that I am probably significantly older than the intended audience, but I still enjoyed it. The plot moves along at a good pace, and the characters were developed nicely at the story moved along.
I have read some books by the author before, and this definitely had a slightly different tone and feel than they did possibly due to the use of a ghost writer. However, it was still largely enjoyable and I would recommend it to others, particularly if like me you have read and enjoyed Willard Price books previously.
