Despite this being a book I wouldn’t necessarily pick up at a book store, it certainly lived up to its name! An explosive and action packed thriller!
Set in South Africa a family own a reserve called Crocodile Lodge. Siblings, Ralph and Robyn, help around the reserve with the animals.
Something unusual happens and it’s fair to say that something has managed to get into their reserve, which Robyn and Ralph believe is from the enemy/competitive reserve just across the way!
Ralph’s first thought of this is when he sees a lion running away from something he doesn’t quite make out. As far as they are aware, the Lion is the top of the food chain! Nothing can scare the lion!
It turns out that the Lion was being chased and hunted by a reptile MADE by the competition, using genetics from prehistoric animals!
It was a compelling read, with a lot of action. It didn’t take long to read and it was nice to remove myself from adulthood and get my nose in this book!
