I'm already super intrigued by this book and wish there was more to read now. I love ya fantasy especially when it has a dystopian sense to it and this book is exactly that. I really like the dual perspectives because it gives us more insight into this new world and I think the characters are really interesting. Both have a complicated life and feel trapped by the king and I'm super excited to see how their lives will change after they've met. I love nox's sarcasm and confidence and the fact that selestra has the complete opposite personality- quiet and frightened of herself which will make very interesting character developments. I'm a big fan of the twisted fairytale style in this book and feel like it will be really hard to put down. It seems to be a quick paced book but slow enough for us to get beautiful descriptions that paint a picture of how this fantasy world looks. The cliff hanger at the end of the first look has left me wishing there was more to read. Can't wait to read the rest.
