My second Alexandra Christo YA fantasy novel did not disappoint! I read To Kill a Kingdom a few months ago and it was good but had something missing…I preferred this story so much more. The magical side did not let me down, was a little cheesy but I would still recommend as a nice break from reality! You can really see how Alexandra has developed her writing style and characters. The characters also complimented each other nicely and I enjoyed how the back stories all connected. The secrets were a joy to read about and how they unfolded. The magical side was very fun to read about and made it a real fantasy adventure feel.
Would recommend this to all who want a quick read and want to read about forbidden love and dreams. Everybody loves a good winning over evil setting, I’m sure!
