This book was super easy and enjoyable to read, the storyline was great and the focus on Selestra finding her own path, her own happiness and learning to trust herself was refreshing.
The different points of view within each chapter was done expertly, allowing the reader to understand and get to know the nuances of each character whilst still continuing with the story and not constantly revisiting sections as so often happens with a change of POV.
The book as a whole was super easy to keep track of character names, places etc. which is so often confusing when reading fantasy/ mystical novels where the author has literally had to create whole new worlds.
Christo has navigated this expertly, ensuring Princess of Souls is unique enough to ensure it stands out and be memorable, whilst also making it simple enough for the reader to follow.
The cover and illustration are also beautiful and really compliment the book.
