As someone who reads fantasy books regularly, it does that thing where you're quite confused at first but honestly I do not mind that too much. I love the main character and Rapunzel is a favourite fairy tale of mine so I am very eager to read a retelling.
Nox is also a really interesting character! I love how nox can be the word for light, just like Rapunzel's hair gave out light — it's great wordplay.
This author never ceases to disappoint so I truly cannot wait to read Princess of Souls. Especially if it's like to kill a kingdom which I figure it will be because, well, I mean even the synopsis is so incredibly intriguing. I really adore it!
Four out of five only because it was slightly puzzling but I am sure if I read the entire book as a whole, I would not feel that way.
Oh and also! The names are all so beautiful, I am not over it because they're so ethereal.
