I loved this book and it's fantasy vibes! Also the fact that it was a Rapunzel inspired read and Rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess!
I've never read one of Christo's books, but I found her writing easy and enjoyable to follow that I read this book in under a week (I am at university so that is very hard!). There was an enemies to lover trope, that I loved but did feel like it needed some more development for me to really love the characters and invest in their relationship.
Selestra and Not are both equally strong and powerful characters that I knew would be perfect from their first introduction and I liked both their fiery nature.
For me this book was an easy, good read and didn't require me to read any of Christo's other books as there was little crossover between this book and her other books, but I loved it nonetheless. Pick this book up if you love YA fantasy!
