Having read To Kill a Kingdom as soon as it was released I was really excited to see that there was another book being released in the same universe, only this time instead of a retelling of the Little Mermaid it's a retelling of Rapunzel.
The story is told through the dual point of view of Selstra and Nox and being able to see what each character is thinking and what they make of each situation really adds a little something to the story telling. Fantastic story telling, world building and character development. I highly recommend, especially if you are a fan of to kill a kingdom. You will really enjoy the pace and excitement of Princess of souls.
I must say I really love the cover on this book. There's so much going on and it really ties in well with the story. It feels dark and eerie which for me is really fitting with the story!
Give it a go you won't be disapointed!
