I absolutely love fantasy books especially those that add that fairytale twist. This extract has already got me sucked in and this book will 100% be on my to read list in the near future. From this first look I'm getting rapunzel vibes but with darkness and magic. I am really interested to see where Selestra's story goes especially foretelling her own death.
Nox seems dark and mysterious and I am interested to see how his character develops and I have a feeling he is going to be responsible for Selestra's development and maybe will help her in the finding of her true magic.
I havent read To Kill a Kingdom yet but this has definitely peaked my interest. I'm hoping this is a standalone and those who haven't read the others yet can understand the world this will be set in. I can't wait to pick this book up and see how these two characters come into one!
