i was quite surprised that i enjoyed this book as its not the usual genre i would pick up, its a young adult fantasy book. Selestra and Nox are great characters,
Selestra is a young witch who has not fully tapped into her powers, when she touches nox and gets a vision of his death she realises their fates are entwined after she sees her death too, can they each over come their differences and keep each other alive, not so easily when her immortal father and powerful witch mother is after them.
this is my first Alexandra Christo book, and i might read some others, this story at its heart is about feeling trapped, either by circumstance or by your past, and untimely learning to trust yourself as well as the others around you, light will always win out of the darkness, i love the cover of this book, i would maybe of liked to hear more of the backstory of the other characters though
