A second novel from the Author of To Kill a Kingdom. This one was an enjoyable read, once I got to read it! Thanks to the first look my daughter started reading it before I had even had a chance to get my hands on it once received! We both love fairy-tale and fantasy based stories so this fitted the bill. Even though it's written as a young adults book, it's an easy fun read for the older person!
It's described as a Rapunzel retelling but apart from the obvious traits there is not much else to the story that links into Rapunzel. That said the main characters were typically interesting, engaging and fulfilled the expectations of good versus evil storyline with the usual plot twists. However the storyline was a little as expected
