I’m most certainly grateful that I was able to get my hand on this book, thank you soo much Readers First for sending me a copy.

I’m once again awed by the amazing talent Alexandra Christo has to retell traditional fairytales; whilst the story did veer away from it’s original inspired fairytale “Rapunzel”, the story line of “Princess of Souls” is as equally enjoyable! It definitely has much more of a dark, gripping twist which just adds more depth to the book.

The book follows the journey of Selestra (who is next in line to become the King’s Witch) and a soldier named Nox that happens to be in the King’s army. Both characters work together to overcome their dark fate and to take down the immortal King.

As i followed both Selestra and Nox along, it was almost like I was entering this world of fantasy which seemed to completely envelop my senses, dragging me into this new found atmosphere. Both characters have great banter and unique personalities which tie the story together, in addition to introducing the enemies to lovers plot as well.

I would say this book is definitely worth a read!
