I enjoyed this young adult fantasy book. The story is fast-paced and grabed my attention. The action started quickly and held me there. I enjoyed how the relationship between Nox and Selestra developed. I would have liked the mother to be developed more aswel as the side characters. I think this would have added to the story and how invested i felt. There was a slow burring romance with the classis enemies to lover and some great witty banter between all the rag tag crew. I also loved the adventurous elements and
things were moving so quickly towards the end that I literally could not put the book down. The last part of the book also was where you found out most of the information and i felt it all came together well. this was a fun read of pure escapism that looks at mythology and is about believing in yourself. A very inspiring fantasy read for the younger adults.
