First impression is that the plot is a woman who has her destiny already chosen for her and that she doesn’t want to have someone choose her path. Like many women still today it seems like their paths are written in stone. So to read this would be a great boost to the female readers to show that not only can they choose their own path but that they also don’t have to destroy others in the process.
