The front cover is absolutely stunning and I would be compelled to pick this up for a closer look in a book store. I really like the exotic vibes from the leaves and lions (took me ages to spot the face!) and the fact that this novel focuses on a different culture as opposed to typical Western ideals.
The first look gave me an insight into Tarisai's tropical world and I'm intrigued to find out the extent of her relationship with the Lady. It reminds me of a dystopian book which is one of my favourite genres. I also love the addition of the map.
