The book with its majestic book cover reminded me much of the stories from Narnia, which have a fairytale touch as well. I think this book will take you on a journey through love, culture and mysticism, also a good old fashioned adventure. I'm looking forward to read this piece, as I can feel a lot of empathy for Tarisai, who is being abandoned by her mother. Also, I've just been vacationing in South Africa for the first time and was very impressed by the country - so I'm very interested in this West African story and the culture behind it. :-)
