I loved the first chapters of the story. I’m already drawn in by the vague descriptions of the magic system and the different types of beings who wield that magic. I definitely want to know what happens when we leave the relative safety of the compound and we get to learn more about the world surrounding it. The first few chapters are definitely enticing.
