Book review! Now I am assuming that you are asking why 3 stars? The truth is I liked this book, but not enough to get four or perhaps five stars. Yes, the whole African theme was wonderful and refreshing compared to the monotonous always white-themed books. I loved the characters and they were so brave and independent but the plot itself wasn't that good. It was too long when the book could have easily been shorter, the book was 400 pages and i think it didnt have to be that long, 300 pages would have been more than enough, sometimes a book doesnt have to hit the 400 pages by using constant plot twists and shocking and action events, it was a good book, but if we take to notice that it would be a really good book and perhaps worth it of five stars. (Note, it was boring in the last pages and felt like a chore to read it, as I said some stuff could have been cut out.)
