I really wasn't sure what to expect from this book. The blurb didn't give away much in terms of what was going to happen. But, I was hooked from the start.

This story contains the elements of good adult fantasy, amazing characters, who are well written and though-provoking. The relationships between the characters also make this a good read. Mythology and culture are woven all the way through.
The writing is fact paced, with the right amount of description to really set the story, without slowing the pace down to much.
