Upon meeting Tarisai, I was immediately intruiged. Her hollow, knowing memories, seeing them with her touch, is something I've not heard of nor read in a book before. Although young, Tarisai has the potential to be an inspiration to readers. She tells them to find their own path, create their own destiny. She's brave, not fearless, but you can't be fully brave without some fear.
The plotline is really capturing and Jordan Ifueko has done an excellent job on writing this story. Jordan knows how to keep readers interested and she has a knack to writing. I can see her going far in her writing career and would gladly pick up more of her books!
I'd love to know more about how Tarisai gets on with the council and if any secrets unearth themselves.
