I’ve come across a lot of other people reading this book and it had been on my TBR for ages, but still I’m so so surprised it actually lived up to the hype, really well written and engaging well worth the read.
The path of the protagonist follows that of the reader as she discovered more about herself and the world, we do too, going along side her on that journey was really immersive, the self discovery along the way is woven in with each step she takes and we get to see her decide if she’s Going to be taking the path that’s been set out for her her whole life or if she’s going to forge a new way forward, the self discovery wasn’t at all childish as I thought it would be like a lot of other YA fantasy books I’ve been disappointed with lately so that was refreshing it’s was really what I need to get out of the reading slump I found myself in, it’s super unique plot was worth the read for me.
