I am hooked already! It cought my attention because of the main character being some what of a anti-hero. the chapter pulled my in from the start. the style is exactly my type. i am a hard-core fantasy reader so the style is easy to read for me and fimiliarr. I liked that we are introduced to the main character and her powers right from the start because sometimes I find that certain books beginning chapters often are too detailed and too focused on just giving background information. So I liked that this got to the point basically right from the start. The Lady seems like an interesting character already and tarisai(I have no clue how to pronounce this) story is interesting as well because I can tell that she still after knowing why her mother wanted her longs for her.
