I have just read the first chapters of this book and I am already gripped and I have already decided that I hate her mother “the lady” it seems like a fabulous book so far and I cannot wait to read more, the magical world is different to other things I have read for example the red queen. The main character seems strong willed and know what she wants and isn’t afraid which I like becuase I have read to many books/stories that make the female character be scared and stutter a lot what annoys me as I like representing strong female leads, I like the mystery element to this book as I am now itching to find out what her mothers ulterior motives are to ordering her to kill someone, her mother seems cunning sly and a master manipulator and she is tricking her daughter into thinking that she loves her and wants the best for her however I can clearly see that that is not the case. You should definitely read this !
