I’ve only read the first two chapters so far and I must say I am in LOVE!
The authors writing style is so unique and their voice is absolutely beautiful.
I don’t think I’ve ever read anything like it! The story is so captivating and the characters are as intriguing as characters get. The author builds an entirely new fantastical world, based upon west Africa as far as I can tell and it is magical.
I love the idea that the Main Character is bound to do what her Mother commands her to and fall in love with the boy in the picture at the same time.
Im left wondering, why the lady wants him dead, who she is and why she said that the Main Character should have been Princess.
Im very excited to read this book in the future and I can only recommend it to anyone who loves inventive new fantasy as well!
