A wonderful, magical and mystical read that created an atmospheric world full of love, loyalty, betrayal and intrigue.
Raybearer is an amazing story, complemented by fantastic characters and lyrical writing that had me fully emerged. The magic system was brilliantly woven into the story and although it was fantastical, it also felt believable. The Hallow powers were interesting to learn about and each was a little unique in its own way.
I really enjoyed the cultural aspects of the story and thought they added a richness and depth to the world building.
The only thing preventing this book from being 5 stars was that it’s was a little slow at times but that did not take away from my enjoyment and I can’t wait to read book 2.
