This book was great. GREAT! And considering it came so late because of COVID, it was definitely worth the wait!
I love the fact that this is a black voices book, with the main characters all being black. It’s lovely, and these characters were written so well. I also loved the fact that the first boy our mc meets isn’t the one that she falls in love with - that’s a very refreshing take on ya, because they usually don’t do that!
It was exciting, entertaining, the writing style was beautiful - I just really enjoyed it! I’m just sad now that we have to wait for the sequel! So, everyone should get this one on their tbr. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
