I was lucky enough to have been sent a review copy of this book back in February and after reading the premise I was really intrigued.
The artwork of this book is not done justice by the picture as it is so much more rich and beautiful in person.
I found this story very original and captivating. If you are a fan of books that are rich in fantasy, Strong world building, family bonds & rivalries and a political element that I expect you would very much enjoy this book.
Tarasai is a beautifully woven and flawed character. She is very flushed out and is such a relatable character to a reader seeing the moral dilemmas she is going through in the book in order to just proof in the simplest form that she is good.
