I was drawn into this story about 12 year old Rayleigh against my will by the excellent writing.
The synopsis won me over as a reader at all but I was won over by the unique writing and the originality of the story.
Just wondering whether the length of the book and the ‘grown up’ writing may be off putting for the YA the book is more intended towards. Still this worked for Harry Potter and Jk Rowling ?
