After reading the preview for the book I was excited to have won a copy to review.
The front cover grabbed me from the start as it was great to a young man on the cover surrounded with bright colours. The illustrations continues in the book as there is a little something at the start of each character, we really enjoyed looking at these at we progressed in the story.
The story is a classic good vs bad but it was a nice read with enjoyable characters. I am always a little worried witches and wizards books try to repeat Harry Potter but this book was wonderful. There is a small about of magic systems but you are not trying to manage world building and political systems, which makes the booka litter read.
I hope to see this book become a series of young adult books as the author has a wo wonderful style and a clear passion for this area. It would also be great to hear more about other characters.
