I liked the cover of this book as straight away you get the impression that the story involves a very cool and fun character. Although the writing does feel more American than where it is set in London, UK and I think it maybe a bit of a difficult read for some but will keep good readers very engaged.
I also liked the theme and think this will be quite a popular book for the target age range. As it involves mischief and playing pranks. The writing style was a lot better than other books usually aimed at this age range.
The twists and turns and having a range of monsters and monstrous delights and mayhem is just what my son likes to read about.
So this got a thumbs up from a 10 year old and it kept his attention throughout. I wonder if Rayleigh Mann is up for any other adventures or mishaps as I can see him becoming someone to read about in other situations too.
