The cover of this book is bright colourful and eye catching and depicts what is to come in the book.
I found this story to be slow going and my interest in the story started to wane as I found that the story did not hold any excitement.
The story is focused on a boy called Rayleigh Mann who finds out that he is the son of Bogey Mann.I liked the authors way in which this was connected.
He goes out on Halloween trick or treating and meets, yes you guess it monsters. One turns out to be his uncle Thelonious and eventually his best friend Marley.
Rayleigh is invited under London to complete his trails to see if he has got monster qualities.
Rayleigh's Dad Bogey is the supreme leader of under London and has gone missing.
I like how Rayleigh's character was developed and how kinship and friendships were formed.
There is some fun, magic, adventure and mystery in this book but the story is so slow.
