What a beautiful cover, and at 400 pages it is an ideal chunky read for the cold winter nights approaching. Upon reading the synopsis, it struck me how much this felt like a twenty-first century grown-up version of the Point Horror books I loved as a teenager. I can imagine some of the characters getting into mysterious circumstances like this when they grew up. The writing is descriptive, compelling and the author makes you want to read on and find out what happens. A great formula for any book of this genre I'd say.
