Blurb gives give something away. Cressida inadvertently overhears her husband Lawrence talking in a less than businesslike voice to someone called Nina - just as he’s told her that he’s working late. This will apparently lead to death. Suspecting the obvious but wanting to collect evidence before she takes on her rich and powerful husband, she seeks the help of a sister of an old friend. An old friend whose husband has died in mysterious circumstances no less. In the third segment. Kate, who may be an associate of Lawrence for or maybe something more briefly passes Nina in the doorway as she leaves.
Mildly interesting to see how it plays out although I really do get fed up of stories about rich people behaving smugly.
