After reading the First Impression I'm really not sure about this book. It seems well written but hasn't (yet) pulled me in. For me it is not an instant page-turner but maybe it is a slow burn that will draw me in if I persevere. I think if I picked it up in a bookshop I'd put it down without buying it but if I came across it in the library I might be tempted to borrow it and see how it unfolds. One for the "definitely, maybe" shelf.
