Ok synopsis but not been impressed with the authors last few books.

The synopsis sounds intriguing enough and the first impression was ok, if a bit long-winded without much actual progression. Whilst I loved the author’s very first book, her more recent efforts have been underwhelming and far from thrilling. The last one bored me senseless in actual fact so I’m decidedly lukewarm about this one and won’t bother entering the raffle.
